What I have seen for years
I have worked with credit portfolio, real estate and law firm teams, and I kept running into the same scene. A portfolio arrives as a batch of thousands of PDFs. Deeds, land registry extracts, debt certificates, court orders and payment demands. Some are scanned; others sit in folders whose names don't match what is inside. Someone has to open them one by one, work out what each document is and copy its data into a spreadsheet.
That work is done by highly qualified people: analysts, lawyers, servicing teams. And it eats weeks they should spend deciding, not transcribing. That is why we created MestrIA.
What MestrIA is
MestrIA is the platform with ready-made solutions to manage and automate your processes, with a focus on documentation. We did not want yet another OCR tool to configure, or a custom build for every client. So these are ready-made solutions, designed for three areas.
- Credit portfolios. Document due diligence, NPL portfolio boarding and asset tracing report reading.
- Real estate assets. Land registry extracts, real estate document auditing and bulk contract extraction.
- Legal case files. Document preparation for legal claims, case-file reconstruction and court notice classification.
How it works, with no IT project
You send documents the way you already work. By SFTP, a shared folder, email or through the platform. There is no OCR or template to configure, and your IT team doesn't have to build anything.
MestrIA reads every document with the most advanced reading engines on the market and its own extraction model. It classifies the document, extracts its data and records the page each value comes from. Then it rebuilds every case file from the documents that belong to it and cross-checks them against each other.
An example
In a sample case file, the land registry extract shows a €120,000 mortgage. The loan deed says €150,000. Checked by hand, across hundreds of case files, a detail like that slips through easily. I have seen it happen more than once.
MestrIA flags it as an issue and shows you both pages, the registry extract and the deed, so your team decides with the evidence in front of them.
What you receive
Reliable, traceable data, in the format you already use (Excel, JSON or API) and through the channel you prefer. Every case file comes with its status: ready, with an issue, or missing a document. And every value carries its source page.
What changes in your operation
In the processes we automate, the time and resources spent on document review drop by more than 90 %. And capacity stops depending on team size. If tomorrow you get three times as many case files, MestrIA absorbs them without you having to hire.
Your data, under your control
